Jon Toigo
Jon William Toigo is CEO and Managing Partner of Toigo Partners International LLC.  Toigo is a 20-year IT veteran who has worked in corporate information systems departments and as a senior consultant with two international systems integrators. 
Toigo has published over 1000 articles in the computer trade press for publications ranging from Computerworld, Network Computing, Scientific American, and Washington Technology to Enterprise Systems, SearchStorage, TidalWire, and Network World.  Jon has also written thirteen books, including Disaster Recovery Planning,3rd Edition: Preparing for the Unthinkable, The Holy Grail of Data Storage Management,  and The Essential Guide to ASPs. In addition to his work in print, Toigo provides consulting and analysis services to a broad range of international clients, ranging from technology vendors to corporate end users to consumers.  He has developed disaster recovery plans for 68 organizations and helped to form one of the first DR user groups in the US, the Disaster Avoidance and Recovery Information Group (DARING) in the late 1980s.  Toigo holds a Master of Arts from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, and is widely regarded as an expert in the areas of data storage technology and its management, IT business value assessment, and disaster recovery planning.  He has spoken at professional conferences around the world and periodically delivers instructional programs within the MBA and Computer Science Departments of leading colleges and universities.


Steve Colby
Mr. Colby joined Grant Thornton in 2005 as the Manager of Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity services.  He is currently responsible for all Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity services for Grant Thornton’s US IT Infrastructure.  During Mr. Colby’s 20 year career in IT he has served in numerous roles, including Systems Programmer for Sears Technology Services, Infrastructure Experienced Manager for Arthur Andersen LLP, Director of Platforms and Services for Mid-States Corporate FCU and now Manager of Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity at Grant Thornton LLP.


Joe Parla
Mr. Parla joined Grant Thornton in 2006 as the Business Continuity Architect.  He is currently responsible for architecting all Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity services for Grant Thornton’s US IT Infrastructure.
Mr. Parla has over 35 years of IT experience including positions with IBM, Time, GTE, the Federal Reserve System, and Grant Thornton LLP.  Mr. Parla holds the following certificates: Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) 


Chris Hyrne
Chris Hyrne is responsible for product management, product marketing and communications worldwide. He brings over 20 years experience to Topio in the high technology industry. Prior to joining Topio Chris served as Vice President  at Invio, a leading provider of software to automate and control enterprise data storage operations. Prior to Invio, he was responsible for corporate and product marketing operations at Asera, a provider of business-to-business eCommerce software. There, he also served as Vice President of the Asera/Accenture strategic alliance. Before Asera, Chris was Vice President of Marketing for Prism Solutions, a data warehousing pioneer. He has also held senior management positions in Sales, Product Marketing, and Business Development at IBM and Taligent. Mr. Hyrne graduated from Santa Clara University with a BS in Economics.

Doug Chamberlain
Doug Chamberlain brings more than six-years storage industry experience and joined Spectra Logic in 2005 as product manager. He currently oversees the competitive positioning, development, strategic planning and research for three Spectra Logic tape and disk product lines. Chamberlain has nearly a decade in strategic planning and Web-based business development experience. Prior to joining Spectra Logic, Chamberlain founded The Strategics Group, LLC, a consulting practice; and co-founded Summit Internet / 247 Sales, an e-commerce services provider. Chamberlain previously held positions as vice president of sales and marketing for Sports Vision Technologies and product manager for Exabyte, Inc. Chamberlain earned a master’s of business administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a bachelor’s of arts degree in economics from California State in San Bernardino.


Matthew J. Wenzler
Matthew has a strong international background in providing consulting services for the deployment of secure networks, disaster recovery solutions and complex managed web hosting environments. He managed the deployment of the largest European financial fund exchanges network. Matthew has worked with financial institutions, healthcare, automotive, and legal organizations to deploy IT environments with a focus on security and performance. He is often sought after as a subject matter expert and speaker on IT Disaster Recovery and Risk Mitigation. He has more than 13 years experience in Technology based fields focusing on Internet Security Systems, eBusiness Hosting, Disaster Recovery and Data Networks. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science degree with high honors in Marketing from the University of Connecticut. He is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma, the Honor Society for Collegiate Schools of Business. He also attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.


Anthony Hopp
Anthony Hopp co-founded EOS, Inc. in 1995 with the primary purpose of creating a private, nationwide computer network for bankers.

Philip Bruce Waid
Philip Bruce Waid is Director of Information Systems at Nation Pizza Products.  He has a
BA in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Chicago in 1973 and an MS in Information Engineering, also from UIC, in 1981,  He holds an MCSE/MCSA Windows 2000/2003.  Bruce has been an Instructor at the College of DuPage from 1983 to the present  covering Microsoft Networking/Security/Exchange. He has been a consultant in the data processing field from 1974 until 1998. Previously he was Director of Information Systems at Richelieu Foods from 1998-1999 and Director of Information Systems and then joined Nation Pizza Products in 1999.


Marcos Archilla
Marcos Archilla is the Director of Technical Operations for the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago. Marcos has been with Catholic Charities for over 10 years.  He has worked in the non-profit arena for over 13 years and in corporate for over 2 years.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology in 1994.  In his current position he manages the day to day operations including – Network Operations, Field Operations, Help Desk Operations and Telco Operations.  While in this position he has led Catholic Charities into the leading edge of Disaster Recovery by implementing an IP San.  He is currently in the midst of rewriting their DR plan.  He is also currently working on phase 2 of the DR plan to replicate critical data to off site storage.  Marcos Archilla was featured in an article about Catholic Charities deployment of an IP San on Stonefly Networks website.  This article was also published in Byte and Switch in November 1, 2005.   He has been an advisor for other organizations looking to make the switch to an IP San or Disk 2 Disk 2 Tape option.


Tim Endisch
Tim Endisch is an IT Consultant with over twenty-five years of varying capacities in the industry.  With experience in both the technical and director-level aspects of business continuity, he can speak to the issues and concerns that arise on both sides.  As a technician, Tim has been involved in everything from architecture and design to offsite testing exercises.  As a project manager, he has coordinated Business Impact Analyses, been involved with mission critical application definition and helped design and build D/R requirement and scope definition documentation.  As a Director, Tim has had the opportunity to work with executive-level management personnel to not only build a case for the justification of appropriate resources (critical on both the financial and personal fronts) to build an effective team, but has also had success in getting the respective buy-in and support from those same executives.  As the MIS Operations Director at Harnischfeger Corporation (d.b.a. P&H Mining Equipment) he has also coordinated the assembly of a complete Business Continuity team for a world-wide multi-million dollar operation.


David Edborg
David Edborg is a Solutions Architect for Topio.  Prior to his work at Topio, Mr. Edborg served as a Solutions Architect for EMC and was the Solution Design Manager for Comdisco’s Advanced Recovery & Storage Solutions Division.  Mr. Edborg has implemented high availability and internal recovery solutions for many of Fortune’s top 500 Companies.
Before joining Comdisco, Mr. Edborg held various positions at Computer Associates where he gained significant commercial software development experience in the areas of NCSC approved computer security software and enterprise management software.  As a talented speaker and author, Mr. Edborg has designed and presented coursework on topics ranging from the “ABC’s of Disaster Recovery” to “How to Survive the Big One”.   David Edborg has pursued post-graduate studies in Computer Science at Illinois Institute of Technology, he holds a masters degree in Mathematics and Computer Science in Education from Concordia University and a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Purdue University.


Darren Gourley
Darren Gourley is a Sr. Product Specialist focused on the storage industry for Sirius Computer Solutions. Mr. Gourley architects storage related solutions (Backup/Recovery, Disaster Recovery, Consolidation, Virtualization, Archiving, ILM) for SMB and Fortune 500 companies. 
Prior to his work at Sirius, Mr. Gourley served as a Sr. Technical Consultant for EMC architecting storage solutions for SMB companies in the following verticals: Manufacturing, Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare/Hospitals, Insurance and Banking.  Before joining EMC, Mr. Gourley held various positions at Silicon Graphics where he gained experience and knowledge with architecting and implementing solutions for SMB and Fortune 500 companies within the following disciplines: HPC, CAD/CAM, graphics, storage. Darren Gourley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Ball State University. Mr. Gourley also holds storage certifications from IBM, Network Appliance, and EMC.
