Robert
Balon
Robert
Balon is Principal & Managing Partner at Clerestory Consulting LLC. He has
an extensive background leading companies through significant change. Specific
areas of expertise include managing large, complex projects and driving value
from major investments in technology. He has led innovative engagements in
a variety of industries, including financial services, manufacturing,
healthcare, media, entertainment, and government. Mr. Balon advises corporate
boards and executives on ensuring critical initiatives deliver results. Before
founding Clerestory Consulting LLC in 2003, Mr. Balon was formerly a Senior Vice
President of Bricker & Associates and Keane Consulting Group. Mr. Balon also
held prior leadership positions with Price Waterhouse and Pansophic Systems. He
holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and is a member of
the National Association of Corporate Directors and The Executives’ Club of
Chicago.

Anuraag Bhargava
As VP and CIO of EMD, Anuraag oversees
Electro-Motive’s Strategic Information Solutions. He is charged with leading
the efforts to optimize EMD’s core operations and SG&A processes as well as
leveraging business process changes through technology that will enable the
Company to drive continuous improvement. Anuraag also manages the Global Supply
Chain organization consisting of strategic sourcing, procurement and supply
planning for EMD’s operations across the globe. Anuraag has more than
fourteen years of experience in Strategy , IT, Supply Chain and
engineering/design consulting, the last seven years of which has been with A.T.
Kearney, Inc. As a Principal in the Strategy Practice at ATK, Anuraag led a
variety of complex, large scale, global consulting projects focusing in the
areas of Mergers & Acquisitions, IT Strategy; Supply Chain Management;
Engineering and PLM; Enterprise Transformation and Project Planning for the
automotive, manufacturing and retail industries. Prior to A.T. Kearney, Inc.
Anuraag worked six years for Larsen & Toubro, based in Mumbai, India, where he
served as the Group CIO/Department IT Head for the Chemical Plants and Systems
Group. He began his career as a project engineer designing turnkey EPC
solutions in the Power, and Petrochemical sector leading large teams of design
engineers.

Steven Carlberg
Steven is the network architect for University HealthSystem
Consortium, an alliance of 102 academic medical centers and 184 of their
affiliated hospitals. In this capacity, Steven is responsible for the overall
design, selection, and integration of various networking technologies. Steven
will obtain his MBA at Northern Illinois University in December of this year. He
has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the California
State University at Hayward. Steven also served in the United States Navy in
the Nuclear Power Program for nine years onboard submarines.

John
Costanza
As Product Leader and Senior Business
Advisor for Acxiom’s IT Services division, John Costanza works closely
with his Center of Excellence team to design IT solutions that supports
the business needs of today’s CIO and IT environment. He is one of
Acxiom’s key thought leaders in infrastructure management solutions,
business intelligence solutions, virtual data center best practices,
delivery performance metrics and the technology needs of mid-size
companies, particularly those who are information-intensive. Before
joining Acxiom in 2000, John was the chief information officer at Budget
Rent A Car, North America, and a
controller for CarX Service Systems. While at Budget, he led major
initiatives to align technology to the needs of the business including a
state-of-the-art revenue management system that substantially increased
both revenue and profits. He also led Budget in a major outsourcing
initiative, so truly understands the issues “from both sides of the
desk.” John was a member of the board of directors for the
Chicago chapter
of the Society of Information Management. He has received numerous
awards for his industry contributions and is a frequent speaker at IT
conferences, including participating in a recent panel discussion at the
2007 Gartner Outsourcing Conference. John, a CPA,
is a graduate of the University
of
Illinois and also earned a bachelor’s
degree in computer science from DePaul University.

Shouvik Dutta
Shouvik is the VP of IT, responsible for
integrating and managing the diverse requirements of Hart Schaffner Marx a
premier Apparel company. Experience in driving and managing change, he is
currently managing a large initiative, transforming the business and
technology at Hart Marx. He is responsible for all aspects of IT at Hart
Schaffner and Marx. He has built global teams, implemented and managed large
implementations. He has also managed outsourcing of application and
technology. He has managed global sourcing and delivery initiatives for a
variety of industries. Shouvik was previously Vice President of IT at
DSC Logistics, a third party logistics company based out of Chicago. He was
responsible for managing the warehouse and transportation systems enabling
efficiency in DSC’s supply chain management. Shouvik has over 18 years
experience with multi-national organizations in business process design and
re-engineering of financial, sales, supply chain and demand/supply chain
management. Shouvik received his Bachelor of Science in economics from St.
Xavier’s College, Calcutta University in India. He subsequently received
his Master of Arts degree in economics from Tufts University and his Master
in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Gillhouse
David is Chief
Information Officer for Bimba Manufacturing Company, a leading Industrial
Automation manufacturer, based in Monee, Illinois. In this capacity, David
directs Bimba’s Information Technology, e-Commerce and business process
reengineering initiatives. He is also involved with Bimba’s Strategic Planning
and Mergers and Acquisitions activities. Prior to joining Bimba in 2006, David
served as Vice President of Information Technology for The Chamberlain Group,
Inc. and its parent company, Duchossois Industries. He has also held leadership
positions with Monroe Auto Equipment and Accenture. David’s Information
Technology team at Chamberlain was recognized by InformationWeek
magazine as one of the Top 100 IT Innovators for five consecutive years.
Chamberlain was ranked the 14th best IT practitioner in 2003.

Gorson
Gary Gorson, Chief Information Officer, brings
nearly twenty years of IT consulting and senior-level IT leadership experience
to Shell Vacations, LLC. A Chicago area native, Mr. Gorson gained expertise in
designing, building and managing e-business and technology infrastructures as
Director of ASP Operations for Cyborg Systems, and as Vice President IT
Operations for Automatic Data Processing and William M. Mercer. His expertise
includes real-time systems engineering and business process optimization through
technology utilization. Through his innovation and leadership, Shell Vacations
was awarded the 2006 CIO 100 award. Mr. Gorson holds a Masters Degree in
Computer Science from De Paul University and conducted post graduate work as a
PhD candidate at Illinois Institute of Technology in Artificial Intelligence.

Mark Hattas is Founder
& CEO of Geneca. Mark Hattas has been at the helm of Geneca
since he co-founded it over 10 years ago. Much of Geneca’s

predictably deliver on commitments that drive measurable
business value. A popular local speaker on overcoming the
challenges facing IT, Mark has been honored with a Young

Peter Logothetis
Peter
Logothetis is the Chief Information Officer for Winterthur.
He oversees the information services department for QBE
Regional Insurance companies. He has more than 25 years of
experience in the information technology industry and has
worked in insurance for 15 years. Since 1980, Peter has also
been a part-time IT instructor at DePaul University, where he earned his masters in
business administration. A native of Greece, he also has a bachelor's degree in
computer science and business from the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Bernadette McMahon
Bernadette
McMahon is the Associate Vice President/CIO at Columbia College Chicago,
where she is involved in IT strategic planning. Bernadette has over 27
years experience in Information Technology and Telecommunication in a
Higher Education setting. She serves as executive manager of several
large scale CRM implementations for finance, Student Systems, Document
Imaging and Workflow and Portals which enhance Columbia’s business
processes. She is also involved in the infrastructure development for a
growing campus environment. She has consulted for other educational
institutions as well.

Mike
Parisi
Mike is the Corporate IT leader for Illinois Tool Works
responsible for all of Corporate IT. He has been in this position since
November 2007, prior to joining ITW Mike held various technical and leadership
roles during his 21 year career with Honeywell, including roles in Service,
Sales Support, Field Operations and Information Technology organizations; his
most recent position, as the Director IT - Infrastructure Architecture and
Program Management. Mike is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He has a Masters
Degree in Communication Systems Strategy and Management from Northwestern
University in Evanston IL, and a Bachelors Degree in Telecommunications
Management from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Mike was recognized by
Computerworld as a “2006 Premier 100 IT Leader”.

Ken Pederson
Ken Pedersen has over
twenty-four years technology industry experience in
management, management consulting, sales and marketing.
As author and consultant, he has written numerous
articles and three books on technology topics from high
technology sales to expert systems development
methodologies. As an entrepreneur, Pedersen helped lead
network testing firm Progressive Computing until its
successful sale to publicly-held Network Associates.
Most recently, from his position as CIO for Luna Carpet
and Blinds, Ken was promoted to Chief Operating Officer
effective November 1.

John
Phillips is the VP and CIO of Allscripts, a Healthcare Information
company. At Allscripts, he is responsible for driving the technology
strategy to create efficient business processes across the organization
and transforming the company's internal systems by modernizing its
software platforms, enterprise hardware, and network infrastructure. He
brings with him over twenty years of technology experience in business
alignment and operations. Prior to joining Allscripts, John has held IT
leadership positions at Accenture, RR Donnelley, Quebecor World and
Thomson Corporation.

Tracy
Kim W.
Tracy was appointed Executive Director of University Computing at Northeastern
Illinois University in 2005. Prior to this, Mr. Tracy held various technology
and management positions in the Bell Labs division of Lucent Technologies and
AT&T, beginning in 1985. Mr. Tracy has taught computer science in various
Chicago-area universities since 1989 and has co-authored a textbook with another
one in draft. Mr. Tracy received dual Bachelor of Science degrees Mathematics
and Computer Science from the University of Missouri—Rolla and his Masters of
Science degree in computer science from Stanford University. He is a senior
member of the IEEE (and formerly editor in chief of IEEE Potentials
magazine) and a member of ACM. The Executive Director of University
Computing provides the leadership and support for all computing, academic
technology, and telecommunications for the University. University Computing
Services includes administrative, student, and faculty systems as well as
support for all computing infrastructure.

John Von Stein
John W. Von Stein is Executive Vice President and Chief
Information Officer (CIO) of The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC). Von
Stein joined OCC in 2004 and is responsible for all OCC Technology
Services.
Prior to joining OCC, Von Stein was Vice President of Information
Technology (IT) at Cargill Inc. (Cargill). In his 10 years at Cargill,
Von Stein held the following positions: VP of IT for Cargill's Latin
America Region, Global IT Leader for the Grain and Oilseed Supply Chain
Platform, Divisional CIO of Cargill Investor Services, and Global
Information Technology Manager of Cargill Energy Trading. Prior to
joining Cargill, Von Stein worked in several capacities including
trading operations management, financial services consulting and
sales/marketing for Louis Dreyfus Energy Corp., Deloitte & Touche
Consulting, and IBM respectively. Von Stein has a B.S. from Quinnipiac
University and a M.B.A. from University of
Bridgeport.

Hubert
Yoshida
Hu
Yoshida is responsible for defining the technical direction for Hitachi Data
Systems. He was instrumental in defining a collaborative approach to develop
open standards for storage management. Today, he leads the company's effort in
addressing data lifecycle requirements to meet compliance, governance, and
operational risk issues. In his previous position as vice president of
Data Networks, Yoshida helped to define Storage Area Networks, Network Attached
Storage, and other network-related storage and data technologies. Prior to
joining Hitachi Data Systems in 1997 as the director of Product Marketing for
Open Systems Storage, he held various positions in sales, performance
evaluation, software development, product management, and product marketing for
the IBM® Storage Division. Yoshida is a graduate of the University of
California at Berkeley with a degree in Mathematics. Yoshida has served on the
advisory boards of several technology companies and currently sits on the
Scientific Advisory Board for the Data Storage Institute of the Government of
Singapore.
