Philip Bierdz
Philip Bierdz is the
Manager of
Infrastructure at Riverside Medical Center. Phil
has over 16 years of expertise in infrastructure design and management with
overall responsibility for enterprise network and server systems, including
email. In his last year, Phil led a complete replacement of the college’s
network systems, architected and contracted a campus-wide wireless system, and
was the driving force behind adopting an email archiving solution for Moraine
Valley Community College. Phil has served for three
years as President of the Illinois Community College Technology Commission,
President of the Illinois Council of Community College Administrators, and as a
full member of the Illinois Advanced Engineering Taskforce. Philip earned his
bachelor in science in computer science from Northern Illinois University, his MBA from the University of Phoenix, and has eight hours towards a
doctorate in management and leadership studies. When not in front of his
computer, he can be found fishing or bike riding with his wife and two children.

Mark Diamond
Mark is founder, President &
CEO of Contoural, Inc. Mark Diamond is one of the
industry thought leaders in litigation readiness, e-discovery,
compliance, archiving, data protection and ILM strategies and
practices. A
frequent industry speaker, Mr. Diamond addresses how organizations can
better align legal and business requirements with IT and storage
spending. One of the pioneers in the strategic storage services
industry, Mark has successfully built and grown consulting, education
and support organizations from inception to large, worldwide
organizations numerous times. Previously, Mark was co-founder of
Symantec’s (OpenVision) Professional Services group. Additionally, Mark
was founder and General Manager, Worldwide Professional Services for
Legato Systems. He was Vice President of Worldwide Professional
Services at RightWorks, a provider of business application software to
the B2B marketplace. He recently served
as Chair of the Storage Networking Industry Association customer
advisory board on data security. He has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from
the University of California San Diego.

Maureen Durack
Maureen Durack, CPA is
the Director of Management Information Systems (CIO) of Vedder Price P. C.
Maureen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree from the University of
Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant. Maureen’s career began as an
auditor with Ernst & Young in the mid-1980’s evolving into a management
consulting role with accounting clients and ultimately into a full-time
consulting position with Ernst & Young in the MIS area. Maureen has been in her
current position with Vedder Price for over 13 years. Maureen has been
invited to speak on numerous occasions regarding law firm information systems
and records/email retention and management including training and conference
sessions with the American Bar Association, Association of Legal Administrators,
ALAS Insurance, International Legal Technology Association and conferences held
with several vendors. Recently, Maureen served on the conference committee for
CAWorld, focusing on the Information Governance track. Maureen draws
personal pride and satisfaction from her long-standing volunteer efforts in both
health and service-related philanthropies. Maureen is a prior board member and
Treasurer with the Aplastic Anemia Association and currently serves as a board
member and Treasurer with the Breast Cancer Network of Strength (formerly Y-Me)
and serves as President of the Board of Directors with the Society for the
Preservation of Human Dignity (PHD). Maureen lives in Arlington Heights,
IL with her husband Chris. She is the proud mother of her recently-married
daughter, Amy and her daughter who is a junior at University of Illinois,
Renee. Go Illini!

Nate Fitzgerald
A self-proclaimed “Cloud Computing connoisseur”, Nate
Fitzgerald oversees the research and development of MX Logic’s complete line of
cloud-based message archiving and storage solutions. Nate first turned his
attention to cloud-based solutions in 2001 when he co-founded GatewayDefender,
an early pioneer of managed email security services. GatewayDefender was
purchased by MX Logic in 2006. In addition, Nate has extensive experience
managing large, complex corporate email systems. Prior to co-founding
GatewayDefender, Nate spent several years managing the email operations for
Opinion Research Corporation’s entire North American division.

Reed Irvin
Reed Irvin is VP of product management
for Information Governance at CA, responsible for CA’s records
management and discovery solutions. Reed has nearly 20 years of
experience in various aspects of records management and information
governance. He founded On-Line Records Storage, one of the first
commercial offsite storage companies to offer real-time remote
access to information. Reed also served as VP of business
development and chief operating officer of a leading records
management software and services firm. Reed has been a member of
ARMA International for more than 17 years. Reed is also a
collector of vintage wristwatches, a lover of antique cars and
enjoys spending time with his daughter, especially taking her ice
skating.

Bruce
Radke
Mr.
Radke is a member of Vedder Price’s Litigation Practice Area, and is
Chair of the firm’s Records Management and eDiscovery Practice
Group. He regularly counsels clients, including a Fortune 5
company, on all aspects of records management, including developing
and implementing enterprise-wide records retention schedules and
electronic communications policies. He has written and spoken
extensively on a variety of topics relating to records retention,
email and electronic discovery. His articles and comments have been
featured in the Chicago Tribune, The Review of Banking &
Financial Services and the Privacy & Data Security Law

Adam Swidler
Adam
Swidler is a Senior Product Marketing Manager in Google's enterprise division,
responsible for the Google messaging security and compliance products. Adam came
to Google via the acquisition of Postini. At time of acquisition, Postini
offered messaging security and compliance services to 36,000 businesses and 10
million users worldwide and processed more than 2 billion messages per day.
Prior to Postini Adam was the Director of Product Management for Vendavo, in
charge of the Pricing and Margin Management applications suite. Adam was also
with Ariba as the Sr. Manager of Product Management for Arbia's eProcurement
solutions. Adam attended Fordham University and graduated Cum Laude with a BA in
Economics and Mathematics.

Bill
Tolson
Bill Tolson
has more than 19 years of experience in storage and archiving
solutions product marketing and consulting. As director of legal
and regulatory solutions marketing at Mimosa Systems, Bill is
responsible for the strategy and implementation of Mimosa's
legal and regulatory archiving solutions. Bill has helped
companies develop and execute global email archiving solutions
and electronic document retention strategies, and he has been a
featured speaker at several archiving events, including the
Government Technology Conferences, ARMA, and the TechTarget
Email Archiving Series. He spent several years as a principal
consultant and practice manager leading the eDiscovery and
compliance consulting business for Contoural Inc., specializing
in storage solutions and email archiving, enterprise content
management, and information life cycle management. Previously,
Bill held management positions at Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi Data
Systems, StorageTek, and Iomega. Bill has a Bachelor of Science
degree in business management from California State University
at Dominguez Hills.

Brian Wolfe
Brian Wolfe
is co-founder and Partner with Laurus Technologies, an Itasca IL
based IT
consulting and systems integration firm. Brian is responsible
for Laurus Technologies' managed services business, which
includes solutions for e-mail, archiving, backup,
security, and master data. Prior to Laurus Technologies, Brian
served as Vice President of Open Business Systems, Director of
Networks at Rush Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center, and
Associate Director of Diagnostic Radiology and Medical Imaging,
also at Rush. Brian is a frequent contributor to IT
conferences and has presented to audiences on technology topics
ranging from security and compliance to medical imaging. He
holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan
and an MS in Computer Science from DePaul University. Brian is
a member of Vistage, the Greater Chicago Chapter of HIMSS, and
the Society for Information Management.
